Content Rhythm

Very often, editors don’t let themselves to grow and offer new ideas for content, so they will stick to the basic area of presentation that will fell more comfortable to them. This is when art directors should react and help them. If the story is great it should look great. This way you will make a positive impact at your readers.
Rhythm for the readers and editors are not the same concept.
While the conventional wisdom in our newsrooms is that the front part of the newspaper or magazine is most important and that this part should have only hard news at this pages because that it is reflecting the image of a brand and its importance, readers, on the other hand, prefer variety. They are equally interested in the stories about what happened during the 24 hours in “softer” side of life, the closer to them and reality.
