Reading about wrestling is like dancing about architecture: something just gets lost in the translation. True fans need to hear the shouting, the screaming and the bones breaking. They need to see the bodies fly! A few of them probably wouldn’t mind smelling the smells either (but we’re going to pass on that, thanks).
Earlier this week, the WWE organization quietly launched the first interactive iPad version of its in-your-face fanzine, made on the Mag+ platform. They’re keeping it on the DL until later this week, but we can’t wait to tell you about it!
There are several issues now available through the app. The first issue in the subscription is loaded with interactive multimedia features that let you experience the W magazine like never before. There are multiple cover options that fans of both Kane and Daniel Bryan are sure to enjoy. There’s an all-new “Classic Superstar or Hipster” game that will separate the superfans from the wannabe jabronis. There’s also insider info on Wade Barrett’s ink, behind the scenes photos, in-depth feature coverage, video and a whole lot more. Check out the double cover images below. A simple double tap changes the cover for the reader.
WWE fans and technology lovers alike will enjoy this interactive digital magazine. Scrolling content brings the reader through each story while tap-to-hide text options allow you to fully immerse yourself into the WWE images. Several features also include the new Mag+ 4.1 pop-ups to show additional information.
Check out the latest from WWE on your iPad today. Leave the print magazine to the old folks and posers.
